Cornus kousa

Cornus kousa

A beautiful large shrub from East Asia, tiny green flowers appear in June, surrounded by large creamy white bracts. A wonderful addition to any garden, ‘China Girl’ is a vigorous white cultivar and is wildly planted throughout our Asian section of the Arboretum. Dogwoods such as Cornus kousa are grown here for their stunning autumn colour and abundant red fruit.
