Marks Hall Estate in North Essex is a registered charity which manages a stunning Gardens and Arboretum for public enjoyment and education. Set in over 200 acres it features a unique tree collection, contemporary walled garden and woodland walks. The Visitor Centre Tearoom is integral to the Marks Hall visitor experience and a vital part of the overall attraction.
Our Catering offer is continuing to develop and grow. We recently introduced new initiatives such as successful Christmas Lunches and Valentines Dinner. Our food is produced in house with an emphasis on local, seasonal produce that offers our visitors simple cooking with delicious flavours.
We require candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and energy with high standards of food hygiene, service and presentation. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage. It is an exciting time to join the team at Marks Hall, there is lots of scope to make a difference and contribute to the success of catering at Marks Hall.
We are currently recruiting for:
- Deputy Catering Supervisor – an annualised post of 30 hours per week April to October, 22.5 hours per week November to March.
This vacancy involves working flexible hours and will include weekends, bank holidays and occasional evening work. This is to cover the needs of the business: Marks Hall is open April to October 6 days a week and from November to March 3 days a week.
