Autumn Glory

Essex Federation of Women’s Institutes will be holding their two-day Autumn Show at Marks Hall Gardens and Arboretum on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September.

Birkett Long Grasses

Summer is starting to slip into Autumn and the grasses in the Walled Garden and the Millennium Walk are looking better than ever. When you are walking in the direction of the lake you can take the opportunity to feed our newly tamed carp: fish food is now available in the Visitor Centre if you have not spotted this already!

Is located amongst the trees behind the Honywood Oak, and is home to an array of Estate wildlife including Wrens and Field Mice.

On the 25th March 2006 over 20 people congregated at Marks Hall having participated in the Breast Cancer Crocus Walk.
