Magnolia stellata ‘Royal Star’

Published: April 2011
Magnolia stellata 'Royal Star' is a popular magnolia cultivar. The beautiful flowers, pure white and lightly scented, open from mid-March through to April before the leaves emerge. Magnolia stellata is a species which may be found growing wild in certain parts of the Ise Bay area of central Honshū, Japan’s largest island, at elevations between 50m and 600m. Our collection is looking particularly stunning at the moment and can be seen just before Gondwanaland.
