Nerium oleander

Published: August 2008
Nerium oleander is a typically pink evergreen shrub commonly known as ‘rose bay’ ('Casablanca' is white, and 'Ruby Lace' red) and has been chosen for its mix of flowers and leaves. It can be found throughout the Mediterranean region and the flowers appear from May to September while the leaves are thin and pointed.
Although not a hardy plant this variety is one of the hardiest and is flourishing in our Walled Garden.
