Punica granatum 'Nana'

Commonly known as Dwarf Pomegranate it is native to the region from Iran to the Himalayas in northern India and has been cultivated and naturalized over the whole Mediterranean region and the Caucasus since ancient times. Funnel-shaped flowers of scarlet-orange appear in late summer and early autumn. It requires a warm sunny location with good drainage and is flourishing in our Walled Garden.
