Marks Hall has two volunteer-driven buggies available for visitors with restricted mobility; one carries 5 people while the other carries 3.
The route encompasses views of the former mansion and church sites, as well as wonderful vistas across the lakes and through the woodlands. Whilst the buggy is unable to go into the walled garden it can drive up to the gate, from where you can stroll through the beautiful summer gardens with regular bench stops provided. Throughout your journey your driver will highlight points of interest and areas of importance.
There is no fixed charge for use of the buggy but donations are always greatly appreciated as this is the only source of funding for this service.
Booking is essential, and we ask for one weeks notice of intended visit to allow us time to arrange for a volunteer driver. To book, or for more information, please contact the Visitor Centre on 01376 563796 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
