The Coach House

The Coach House is a superb traditional building set in the magnificent grounds of the historic country estate of Marks Hall.

French windows open onto the terrace overlooking the formal gardens, which are in bloom from May to September. The Arboretum, ornamental lakes, cascades and the 17th Century Walled Garden are all accessible to guests. These idyllic surroundings provide an ideal backdrop for photographs of your special day.

The Coach House is available from May to September and can accommodate up to 120 seated guests and 200 for a buffet reception. For wedding receptions the Coach House is yours for 48 hours. This means that for a reception taking place on a Saturday, access is from 12 noon on Friday to 12 noon on Sunday. This will enable you to prepare the Coach House for your memorable day.

We can supply a comprehensive list of reliable local caterers to meet your requirements. You are welcome to make your own arrangements for the supply of alcoholic and soft drinks. Marks Hall does not charge a corkage fee.
