Marks Hall Estate in North Essex is a registered charity that manages a stunning Gardens and Arboretum. Set in over 200 acres it features a unique tree collection, contemporary walled garden and woodland walks. The Visitor Centre Tearoom is integral to the Marks Hall visitor experience and a vital part of the overall attraction.

Our catering offer is continuing to develop and grow. Our food is produced in house with an emphasis on local, seasonal produce that offers our visitors simple cooking with delicious flavours.

As a key member of the Catering Team, you will provide food preparation and service support creating delicious ‘home cooked’ style dishes. We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm and energy with high standards of food hygiene, service and presentation. This is a varied role and you will also be capable of working front of house in addition to the kitchen. This is an annualised contract working 37.5 hours per week in the summer and 8 hours a week in the winter with a fixed monthly salary.
