Marks Hall Estate is a charitable trust established in 1971. Great progress has been made in restoring earlier neglect and dereliction of this historic estate. It is now a place where visitors can enjoy the inspiring landscape – although much work still needs to be done.

By becoming a member you are supporting the valuable work the Trust undertakes in not only restoring but developing Marks Hall for future generations. As a registered charity the Trust is dependent on its own resources and the valued support of visitors, members and volunteers to achieve its aims.

Benefits of joining:

  • Free admission to the Gardens, Arboretum and way marked Woodland walks.+
  • A pass code to the Gardens and Arboretum giving you access on days when it is normally closed and use of a designated car park. Your code also gives you access to the toilet located next to the Visitor Centre.

**Coming Soon - NEW Membership Page - Goes live: 1st February 2019**

From the 1st of February all membership purchases and membership renewals will be processed via our website.

Currently we are unable to process new memberships and renewals until the 1st February 2019, however during this interim we are able to respond to membership enquiries and will follow up on any new membership requests  as soon as we are live.

Our New Membership page will provide online access for:

  • purchases from our range of Annual Marks Hall Memberships
  • creating a personal Marks Hall Membership account
  • direct management of your Membership plan(s)

When you visit Marks Hall from the 1st of February 2019 we will commence scanning all membership cards at our entrance Kiosk during normal opening hours. Every time you visit please bring along your membership card(s) and produce it at the Kiosk where it will be scanned and you will then be given a day entrance sticker. It is important for us to record accurate visitor figures in order to assess development needs, manage site maintenance and make applications for funding.

We are pleased to put new technologies to good use as we bring our procedures in line with similar charities. We are more committed than ever to ensuring that our members benefit fully from the contributions they make towards supporting the maintenance and sustainable future of this unique historic landscape.

We appreciate your support and understanding while we take the time to update our website. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch.

With thanks

The Membership Team
