Snowdrop Days

Visit Markshall this February for Snowdrop Days!

Whilst it may be winter, now is the perfect time to get outside in the cool winter’s sun and explore the Arboretum for seasonal blooms, including honeysuckle, sweet box, wintersweet and of course the sought-after snowdrops a welcome sight after the cold winter months and a reminder that spring is on its way.

Markshall is open Tuesday – Sunday, all year round and February will be the best time to come and visit the spectacular snowdrop display.

The snowdrops can be found in Robin’s Grove, approximately a twenty-minute walk from the Visitor Centre and Admissions.

On select dates our volunteer buggy drivers will be running shuttles to and from Robin’s Grove at £1 per person per journey. So that everyone can enjoy the beautiful carpet of delicate white flowers.
